Why this review?

Robot vacuum-mops with a self-cleaning dock often stay expensive. The Freo X10 Pro breaks that rule: at €279 on sale, it packs a complete 4-in-1 dock, usually reserved for models at €500 and up. We wanted to find out what you actually sacrifice at this price.
Quick verdict
| Buy the X10 Pro if... | Skip it if... |
|---|---|
| you want a real self-cleaning dock and corner mopping for under €300 | you have lots of thick rugs or demand hot-water mopping |
It's the best entry point in the Narwal range: the essential convenience, at the price of an entry-level robot without a dock.
Our testing method
Three-week test in a 60 m² apartment (tile and parquet, two thin rugs) with no pets. Scenarios: daily dust, kitchen crumbs, hair, everyday obstacles and hard-floor mopping.
We focused mainly on what the X10 Pro gives up against the higher-end models, and whether its dock delivers on its promises over time.
Suction: enough for the essentials
With 11,000 Pa, the Freo X10 Pro is the least powerful of our Narwal trio, but that power is enough for daily use on hard floors and thin rugs. Crumbs, dust and hair are picked up cleanly on the first pass. On thick rugs, it shows its limits: that's the one real compromise tied to its price positioning.
The dual anti-tangle brush (main and side) prevents hair wrap-around, a welcome touch at this price.
Mopping and the 4-in-1 dock

The X10 Pro's real selling point is its 4-in-1 dock: it washes the mop, dries it with hot air, empties the robot's bin into a 2.5 L dust bag and recharges the robot. Under €300, that's exceptional — most rivals at this price stop at a charging base.
The Edgereach oscillating triangular mop moves out to clean 90° corners. Mopping is done cold, effective for everyday upkeep. For dried stains, several passes are sometimes needed, but for daily dust and marks, the result is very clean.
Navigation
Navigation combines LDS LiDAR, structured light and several sensors. Mapping is fast and obstacle avoidance is reliable for the category: the robot steers around cables and small objects without getting stuck. It's a notch below the Z10 Ultra's dual-camera navigation, but plenty for a standard home.
Pros / Cons
Pros:
- Complete 4-in-1 dock (washing, drying, emptying, recharging) for under €300
- Oscillating triangular mop that reaches corners
- Reliable LiDAR navigation
- Dual anti-tangle brush
- Best entry point in the Narwal range
Cons:
- Limited suction on thick rugs (11,000 Pa)
- Cold mopping only
- App more basic than on the higher-end models
Which household is it for?
The Freo X10 Pro is ideal for a first robot or a tight budget that refuses to give up the self-cleaning dock: apartments and houses with mostly hard floors, without large areas of thick rugs.
If you have thick rugs, pets that shed a lot or a large floor area, the Narwal Freo Z10 Ultra at €499 or the Narwal Flow 2 at €999 will be more comfortable.
Final verdict
The Narwal Freo X10 Pro democratises the self-cleaning dock: at €279, it offers convenience that only existed above €500 not long ago. It's our "small budget" pick from the best robot vacuums 2026 comparison.
