The washing: Kärcher quality
The 4 counter-rotating microfiber rollers work in pairs: one set washes with clean water while the other wipes, then the roles reverse. Result: the floor is washed and dried in a single pass, without streaks or water film. On tile, varnished hardwood and grout, it is the most effective washing we have tested in this category.
The built-in dispenser automatically adds the cleaning solution in the right proportion.
Ergonomics: assisted guidance
The FC 7 moves forward on its own: just hold it, the assisted propulsion does the work. Cleaning a whole room happens without effort. In daily use, it is real comfort.
The limits to know
The FC 7 is a pure washer: it does not vacuum. Crumbs and gravel must be picked up first, and there is no dust bin. Runtime is limited to 20 minutes claimed — expect 15 in practice, covering a 550-650 sq ft home.
Maintenance
The microfiber rollers wash in the machine (doubles included), and the dirty water tank empties easily. Maintenance is simple and quick.
Verdict
The Kärcher FC 7 Cordless is the reference for hard floor washing: unbeatable wash quality, instant drying and assisted guidance. It lacks the suction of the Tineco S7 Pro — if you want a single device to vacuum AND wash, choose the Tineco; if washing is your absolute priority, the Kärcher is the best.
